Overview

Ùfpokùhij̼ Se was founded durring the early 14th century in fall of the year 1346, by Ghrungla Crowthero Beddoe. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Ùfpokùhij̼ Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ùfpokùhij̼ Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Ùfpokùhij̼ Se is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of spacious paverstone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Unfortuantly, these peasent-grade are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Right off the bat Ùfpokùhij̼ Se hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.

Cultural Notes

Ùfpokùhij̼ Se's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.

In Ùfpokùhij̼ Se all of the cats speak in a dead language.

The Pudding, Blood near Ùfpokùhij̼ Se are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Ùfpokùhij̼ Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves consuming a local toxin to channel Summoning energies of tier 1 via singing.

History

Ùfpokùhij̼ Se's residents established a new industry (32311 % 6)+1 years ago, and it’s making them a great deal of profit. Old patterns of authority and wealth are being disrupted, and the old gentry are unlikely to be pleased about it. They may be trying to take over the industry, or they may have been the ones to enable it in the first place and are using it to crush the life out of any rival power bases. Outsiders might be playing a major role as well, and it could be they plot to siphon off the profits.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Ùfpokùhij̼ Se was attacked by a group of guerrilla fighters. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Ùfpokùhij̼ Se lost 228 people, 348 livestock, and 92 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 223, when members of Ùfpokùhij̼ Se's militia enacted an operation to assassinate an enemyreligious figure. The operation was complicated by extremely hostile wildlife which took many out of action. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in victory for Ùfpokùhij̼ Se's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Ùfpokùhij̼ Se's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
